By Belize Live News Staff: The People’s United Party (PUP) has once again secured victory in the 2025 General Elections, strengthening its hold on the government with 26 seats, while the United Democratic Party (UDP) managed to win only 5 divisions.
As results rolled in, it became clear that the PUP continued its dominance across the country, securing all seats in Stann Creek, Toledo, Orange Walk, and most of Belize and Cayo Districts. However, the UDP was able to retain a handful of strongholds despite its losses.
