The Belize Agricultural Health Authority (BAHA) is looking to fill a Plant Health Officer position at its Central Farm station in Cayo. The successful candidate will play a critical role in pest surveillance, inspections, and eradication programs while assisting with public relations and technical fieldwork.
The position requires an associate degree in agricultural science or biology. Applicants must have strong computer proficiency, interpersonal skills, and the ability to work independently in remote areas. A valid Class “A” driver’s license is mandatory. Fluency in English is required, with Spanish being an added advantage.
The salary range for this position is between $17,810.76 and $34,014.72 annually. Interested candidates should submit a letter of application, résumé, proof of academic qualifications, two recent reference letters, and a valid police record before March 14, 2025.
