By Belize Live News Staff: The first day of March is shaping up to be a beautiful one, with sunny skies, light winds, and dry conditions across Belize. The forecast calls for minimal rainfall, allowing residents and visitors to enjoy outdoor activities without weather concerns.
Expect mostly sunny skies today, with a few clouds passing through. By tonight, conditions will be clear to partly cloudy, and rain is not expected.
For those heading out to sea, calm conditions prevail, with easterly winds at 5-15 knots, leading to waves between 1-3 feet. This makes it a great day for sailing, diving, and other marine activities.
Temperature-wise, coastal areas will see highs of 85°F (29°C) during the day, cooling down to 77°F (25°C) overnight. Inland areas will be slightly warmer, with highs reaching 88°F (31°C) and lows dropping to 66°F (19°C). Meanwhile, hills and higher elevations will experience temperatures between 76°F (24°C) in the day and 63°F (17°C) at night.
Looking ahead, Sunday’s forecast mirrors today’s conditions, with fair weather persisting into the weekend.
For tide watchers, high tide will peak at 10:56 AM, followed by low tide at 5:20 PM, and another high tide at 11:29 PM. The sun rose at 6:11 AM and will set at 5:59 PM, with the moon rising at 7:20 AM and setting at 7:52 PM.
