Sunny and dry conditions set the tone for a perfect midweek in Belize

Belize enjoys a rare stretch of calm weather as hurricane season slowly awakens

By Belize Live News Staff: Fair weather continues to bless Belize today, February 12, 2025, with clear skies and warm temperatures making for a pleasant midweek forecast. The Belize Meteorological Service has confirmed that the country will enjoy dry conditions with abundant sunshine, minimal cloud cover, and a refreshing breeze throughout the day.

Winds will blow from the east-southeast at 10-20 knots, helping to moderate the daytime heat while keeping the sea state at a moderate level. Waves will range from 4 to 6 feet, making it a comfortable day for boating and marine activities.

Temperature highs will be warm but not extreme, with the coast seeing a peak of 87°F (31°C) and a nighttime low of 78°F (26°C). Inland areas will be slightly warmer, with highs of 90°F (32°C) cooling to 72°F (22°C) at night. In the hills, temperatures will be more comfortable, reaching a high of 78°F (26°C) and dropping to 68°F (20°C) overnight.

Thursday’s outlook promises more of the same, with fair weather prevailing and only isolated showers expected, particularly in the evening hours.

Today’s tides include a high tide at 10:30 AM, a low tide at 3:56 PM, and another high tide at 10:10 PM. Tomorrow’s first low tide is expected at 5:07 AM. The sun rose at 6:20 AM and will set at 5:53 PM, while the moon will set at 6:29 AM and rise again at 6:12 PM.

Forecaster Francisca Wellington recommends taking advantage of the near-perfect conditions today, as warm and dry weather continues to create ideal settings for outdoor adventures, beach outings, and tourism activities across the country.
