By Belize Live News Staff: Kyle Aswan Zetina has been found guilty on three counts of murder for the 2019 execution-style killings of Excelsior High School Vice Principal, Alarice Andrewin, and her two friends, Vidal Antonio Yuman and Maria Lucas, a Guatemalan national.
Justice Candace Nanton handed down the verdict at 9:16 a.m., marking a pivotal moment in a case that has remained unresolved for over five years.
The brutal crime took place on June 3, 2019, inside Andrewin’s residence at Mile 10 ½ on the George Price Highway. Investigators described the murders as a calculated and targeted act.
While a sentencing date has yet to be determined, the court has assured that all parties will be informed once it is scheduled.
