By Belize Live News Staff: Belize will see mostly sunny skies with some cloudy spells today as a slightly moist easterly airflow influences the weather. The Belize Meteorological Service forecasts generally fair conditions with only isolated showers, though slightly more activity may develop over central and southern areas during the day. By late tonight, an increase in showers is expected, mainly along coastal areas.
Marine conditions will be choppy to moderate, with easterly winds blowing at 10-15 knots. Wave heights will range from 4 to 6 feet, making conditions suitable for most activities but requiring caution from small craft operators.
Temperatures will remain warm across the country. Coastal regions will experience highs of 84°F (29°C) and nighttime lows of 76°F (24°C). Inland areas will be slightly warmer, reaching highs of 86°F (30°C) during the day before cooling to 72°F (22°C) overnight. In the hills, temperatures will be cooler, with highs of 75°F (24°C) and lows of 64°F (18°C).
Looking ahead to Thursday and Thursday night, skies are expected to be partly cloudy to cloudy. A few showers will occur mainly over northern and central areas on Thursday morning, but rainfall activity will gradually decrease and become isolated by the afternoon.
