By Belize Live News Staff: A Belize Defence Force (B.D.F.) soldier was killed, and two others were injured in a shooting on Sunday night at the Crique Sarco Conservation Post in southern Belize.
The injured soldiers are members of the Support Company First Infantry Battalion. Details surrounding the incident remain unclear as authorities have launched an investigation to determine what led to the fatal shooting.
Brigadier General Azariel Loria, Commander of the B.D.F., confirmed the news, stating, “We have dispatched a patrol along with police to investigate the incident.”
