Belizean author Nicole Johnson shares passion for writing and life journey

By Belize Live News Staff: Belize-born Nicole Johnson, a U.S. Army veteran and mother of three, is making waves as an emerging author with books inspired by real-life events. Johnson, who moved to the United States 14 years ago, has balanced roles as a notary, entrepreneur, and full-time honor roll graduate student, channeling her experiences into her writing.

Writing, Johnson says, has been a therapeutic outlet for the mental challenges she has faced. Her books, available on Amazon and soon to be distributed through Barnes & Noble and IngramSpark, aim to connect with readers through relatable characters and stories. “Whether it’s an obstacle someone has overcome or a challenge they’re navigating, I hope my work resonates and inspires,” Johnson said.

She credits her habit of overthinking as an unexpected advantage in crafting compelling narratives. “It helps me put my thoughts on paper in ways that others can connect with,” she added.

Grateful for the support received from readers and her community, Johnson is eager to share her stories further. Her Amazon author page is available at www.amazon.com/author/nicoleswasojohnsonwrites.
