The prestigious Order of the British Empire (O.B.E.) will be awarded to Phillippa Noreen Fairweather for her outstanding contributions to community and public service. Her tireless efforts have left an indelible mark, inspiring others to uplift their communities through selfless service.
In addition, four Belizeans will receive the Member of the British Empire (M.B.E.) for their exceptional impact in their respective areas. Dr. Marcelino Avila is being honoured for his invaluable contributions to public service, showcasing a career dedicated to improving the lives of Belizeans through effective governance and leadership.
Gregoria Aragon’s recognition stems from her dedication to community service, where her initiatives and efforts have enriched lives and strengthened social bonds. Rudolph Bernard Coye is celebrated for his significant contributions to the tourism industry, helping to position Belize as a premier travel destination while fostering economic growth.
Lastly, Lucilo Enrique Alcocer is acknowledged for his impactful community service, demonstrating unwavering commitment to improving the quality of life for others.
