By Belize Live News Staff: Mainly fair and mild weather continues to dominate the country as conditions remain generally dry. Over the next 24 hours, there is little to no expected rainfall, with isolated showers or light rain occurring offshore, over the cayes, and in the southern regions.
Marine conditions feature calm winds from the north-northwest at 5-15 knots, creating a choppy sea state with waves between 3-5 feet. Temperatures across the country vary, with highs reaching 85°F (29°C) inland, 82°F (28°C) along the coast, and 72°F (22°C) in the hills. Overnight lows will cool to 67°F (19°C) inland, 72°F (22°C) on the coast, and a crisp 61°F (16°C) in the hills.
Looking ahead, similar weather conditions are expected to persist into Sunday, although the chances of showers or light rain may increase for coastal and offshore areas Sunday night.
The tides today are as follows: low at 8:59 AM and 8:52 PM, with high tides at 2:55 PM today and 2:30 AM tomorrow. Sunrise this morning was at 6:18 AM, with sunset at 5:23 PM. The moon will set at 11:11 AM and rise again at 11:19 PM.
