Kontiki community in San Ignacio Town breaks ground on new Police substation

By Belize Live News Staff:  The Kontiki community celebrated the groundbreaking of a new police substation on Pegasus Street today, a joint initiative by Michel Chebat, Minister of Public Utilities, and the Belize Natural Energy Charitable Trust. The ceremony was attended by Kareem Musa, Minister of Home Affairs, Commissioner of Police Chester Williams, and Deputy Commissioner Dr. Richard Rosado, alongside local residents and officials.

The facility aims to enhance security and community policing in the area. Construction begins immediately, marking a significant step toward improved safety and services for Kontiki residents.
