By Belize Live News Staff: A patrol officer’s quick intervention on Central American Boulevard brought a chaotic scene on a passenger bus to an abrupt end, resulting in two arrests.
The incident unfolded at approximately 6:15 pm, when a police officer boarded a bus to find two women engaged in a heated physical altercation. Eyewitnesses described the scene as disruptive, alarming passengers on board.
The two women, a 32-year-old resident of West Canal and a 22-year-old from Allan Pitts Crescent, were detained and transported to the police station. Both were subsequently charged with disorderly conduct.
Investigations into the cause of the dispute are ongoing.
