By Belize Live News Staff: The Belize Met Office reports that fair and cool weather conditions will prevail across the country today and tonight.
Skies will be variably cloudy, with little to no rainfall expected over the next 24 hours. Winds will blow from the north to northwest at speeds of 10 to 20 knots, with occasional gusts. These gusty conditions are contributing to moderate to rough sea states, with wave heights forecasted between 4 to 7 feet. A Small Craft Caution is in effect, and operators of small vessels are advised to exercise caution due to locally rough seas and gusty winds.
Temperatures are expected to reach highs of 82°F (28°C) along the coast, 83°F (28°C) inland, and 72°F (22°C) in the hills. Overnight lows will drop to 71°F (22°C) on the coast, 66°F (19°C) inland, and 59°F (15°C) in hilly areas.
The tropical weather outlook remains calm, with no tropical cyclone formation expected in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico over the next 48 hours. Similar fair and cool weather conditions are forecasted to continue into Saturday and Saturday night.
Tides for today include a low tide at 10:00 AM, a high tide at 4:14 PM, and another low tide at 9:20 PM. Tomorrow’s first high tide is expected at 3:19 AM. The sun will rise at 6:02 AM and set at 5:15 PM today, while the moon is expected to set at 12:06 PM and rise again at 11:51 PM.
