By Belize Live News Staff: The National Meteorological Service of Belize is forecasting a generally fair and warm day across the country. Residents can look forward to sunny skies with some cloudy periods throughout the day.
While most areas will remain dry, there is a chance of isolated showers or thunderstorms developing, primarily over inland and southern regions during the afternoon and into the early evening. Coastal areas can expect a high of 88°F (31°C), while inland temperatures may reach 92°F (33°C).
Boaters and water enthusiasts will be pleased with the marine forecast, which predicts light and variable winds, slight sea conditions, and wave heights between 1-3 feet.
Looking ahead to Tuesday, the forecast calls for partly cloudy skies with a slight chance of isolated showers or thunderstorms, particularly in the south.
The National Meteorological Service is keeping a close eye on a broad area of low pressure that has the potential to develop over the western Caribbean Sea in the coming week. However, there is currently no indication of tropical cyclone formation within the next 48 hours.
