By Belize Live News Staff: The Cabinet has approved the renaming of the Women’s Department to the Family Support and Gender Affairs Department. This change reflects the department’s expanded mission of providing holistic support to families while promoting gender equality.
The new name aligns with the Ministry of Human Development, Families & Indigenous Peoples’ Affairs’ guiding principles of equality and inclusion, as outlined in #PlanBelize.
