Warm and dry conditions persist across Belize

By Belize Live News Staff: Today’s weather offers a classic Belizean blend of sunshine and tranquility. With mostly sunny skies dominating the day, residents can expect fair and dry conditions with only a slight chance of isolated showers. As evening falls, skies will clear, offering perfect conditions for enjoying the stars.

Coastal areas will experience daytime highs of 87°F, dipping to 76°F at night. Inland regions will be warmer, with temperatures soaring to 92°F before cooling to 70°F overnight. Meanwhile, the hills will see more moderate temperatures, ranging from 81°F during the day to 67°F by night.

For those heading to sea, conditions remain calm. Winds will be light and variable, and wave heights will stay slight, between 1 and 3 feet, making it a great day for boating and other marine activities.

In the tropics, Hurricane Rafael is currently about 180 miles west-northwest of Havana, Cuba, moving northwest at 9 mph. The storm’s sustained winds are 105 mph. While there’s no immediate concern for Belize, officials will keep a close eye on Rafael’s progress.

Sunset will grace the skies at 5:18 PM, while the moon will rise late morning at 11:18 AM and set at 10:34 PM. Today’s tides include a high tide at 3:08 PM and a low tide at 8:32 AM, with another low at 7:08 PM. Early risers tomorrow will catch a high tide at 1:31 AM.

Friday’s forecast promises more of today’s favorable conditions, as the dry weather pattern continues to dominate.
