While you might be enjoying some sunshine and cloudy spells today, don’t let it fool you. Forecasters are predicting an increase in showers, and even a few thunderstorms, starting tonight, especially along the coast.
The wet weather is expected to continue into Saturday. Coastal areas will see showers and possible thunderstorms in the morning, with the rain spreading inland by the afternoon. So, if you have any outdoor plans this weekend, you might want to have a backup!
The one silver lining? No tropical cyclones are expected to form in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico over the next 48 hours.
