By Belize Live News Staff: Today, the Good Governance Unit (GGU) under the Ministry of the Public Service, Constitutional and Political Reform, and Religious Affairs held the official launch of Anti-Corruption Month. The ceremony emphasized Belize’s unwavering commitment to promoting transparency and tackling corruption.
Under the theme “Empowered by Choice, United by Voice, Belize Against Corruption,” the event gathered key figures, including government ministers, stakeholders, and guests, to discuss the importance of integrity in Belizean society. The initiative seeks to reinforce the fight against corruption and engage the public on the issue.
Activities for this year’s observance include national competitions for youths and an open TikTok video contest, where participants can submit a one-minute video to raise awareness about anti-corruption. Throughout the month, more details will be shared with the hope of encouraging widespread participation and fostering a new generation of leaders committed to ethical governance.
