By Belize Live News Staff: The National Meteorological Service has issued its latest forecast, indicating that Belizeans can expect a mix of sunshine and showers today. While the morning may start with clear skies, clouds are expected to build up throughout the day, bringing the possibility of scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms.
Coastal areas should be prepared for some showers early in the day, while inland regions are more likely to experience rainfall in the afternoon. As the evening approaches, the southern part of the country and some coastal areas might see additional showers.
Despite the chance of rain, temperatures are expected to remain warm, reaching a high of 92°F (33°C) inland and a comfortable 89°F (32°C) along the coast. The hills will be slightly cooler, with a high of 81°F (27°C).
Meanwhile, Tropical Storm Kirk continues its westward journey across the Atlantic, posing no immediate threat to Belize. However, the Meteorological Service is monitoring a disturbance in the southwestern Caribbean Sea, which has a low chance of developing into a tropical depression in the coming days.
