By Belize Live News Staff: The police officer who tragically lost his life in a late-night motorcycle crash near the entrance of the San Ignacio Board Bridge has been identified as Nicky Waight. Officer Waight was pronounced dead at the scene after the crash late Sunday night.
Another person involved in the collision was critically injured and transported to the San Ignacio Hospital for medical care. Their current condition is yet to be confirmed.
