However, the National Meteorological Service forecasts a shift in the weather pattern tonight, with partly cloudy to cloudy skies and a few showers and isolated thunderstorms, particularly over the south and along some coastal areas.
The marine forecast predicts light chop to choppy sea conditions with waves reaching 2-5 feet. Winds will be blowing from the west-southwest at 10-15 knots. Temperatures will remain warm, reaching a high of 95°F inland and a low of 68°F in the hills.
In the Atlantic basin, Tropical Storm Isaac is moving east and away from Bermuda, while Hurricane Helene poses a threat to Florida as it moves north-northeast. Additionally, a broad area of low pressure west of the Cabo Verde Islands has a high chance of developing into a tropical depression within the next 48 hours.
