Super Furia Band leader battles health challenges, community rallies in support

Beloved Super Furia Band owner, Francisco Alcoser Sr., affectionately known as "Pancho", is facing a difficult health battle. After suffering from severe pain due to a fractured spine this summer, Alcoser sought medical treatment in Mexico.

By Belize Live News Staff:  Beloved Super Furia Band owner, Francisco Alcoser Sr., affectionately known as “Pancho”, is facing a difficult health battle. After suffering from severe pain due to a fractured spine this summer, Alcoser sought medical treatment in Mexico. Further examinations revealed a tumor, and the family is anxiously awaiting biopsy results expected on September 4th.

Despite the uncertainty, Alcoser remains positive and holds strong to his faith. Meanwhile, the Super Furia Band continues to perform, maintaining their high standard even in Alcoser’s absence.

The band and community are rallying around Alcoser, with plans for fundraisers to assist with medical expenses. The outpouring of support from friends and family has been overwhelming, a clear indication of the deep affection and respect Alcoser has earned throughout his life and career.

In a message shared with the public, Alcoser expressed his gratitude for the support and his unwavering belief that he will overcome this challenge and return to his music and his band.
