By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans are waking up to another beautiful day, with clear skies and warm temperatures expected across the country. The National Meteorological Service forecasts a sunny start but reminds us that isolated showers or thunderstorms could pop up over inland areas later in the afternoon or evening.
Coastal dwellers can anticipate a delightful day with highs near 90°F and comfortable lows around 84°F. Inland areas will experience the typical heat, with temperatures reaching up to 96°F, while the hills offer a refreshing escape with highs around 84°F.
Boaters and beachgoers will be pleased with the calm marine conditions, featuring light chop and waves of 2-4 feet. Winds will remain gentle, blowing from the east at 5-15 knots.
As we look ahead to Tuesday, the forecast calls for a mix of sun and clouds, with isolated showers possible during the day. However, the chance of showers and thunderstorms increases significantly Tuesday night, particularly in the south and along the coast.
The Meteorological Service is keeping a watchful eye on a tropical wave east of the Lesser Antilles. Currently, the chance of this system developing into a tropical depression is low.
