By Belize Live News Staff: Belize is waking up to a beautiful Sunday morning, with the National Meteorological Service promising a day of generally fair weather. Expect plenty of sunshine, although some clouds will drift by throughout the day, creating picturesque scenes across the country. The good news is that any showers or thunderstorms will be few and far between, mainly affecting inland areas this afternoon and southern Belize tonight.
If you’re heading to the coast, pack your sunscreen and beach towels! Temperatures will reach a pleasant high near 90°F, perfect for a dip in the Caribbean Sea. Inland residents will experience slightly warmer conditions, with highs in the mid-90s. The hills offer a refreshing escape from the heat, with highs in the low 80s.
Boaters and fishermen can rejoice, as marine conditions are ideal today. Calm seas with gentle easterly winds and small waves are expected.
Meanwhile, the National Meteorological Service is keeping a watchful eye on a tropical wave east of the Lesser Antilles. While it’s showing some signs of organization, the chances of it becoming a tropical depression in the next 48 hours are low. We’ll continue to bring you updates on this developing situation.
Looking ahead, Monday is shaping up to be another delightful day, with similar weather conditions expected. So, enjoy this lovely Sunday, Belize!
