Queen Square Anglican School postpones reopening after vice principal’s passing

By Belize Live News Staff: In a somber announcement, Queen Square Anglican School has shared the heartbreaking news of the passing of their beloved Vice Principal, Ms. Shilpa Jones. As a result, the school has made the difficult decision to delay the start of the new academic year.

The school’s statement, addressed to parents and guardians, conveyed the deep sorrow felt by the entire school community. They expressed their heartfelt condolences to Ms. Jones’ family and friends during this challenging time.

Recognizing the need for staff and students to process this loss and access support, the school has pushed back the reopening date from September 2nd to Tuesday, September 3rd, 2024.
