High water keeps Nohoch Che'en river adventures on hold

By Belize Live News Staff: The popular cave tubing experience at the Nohoch Che’en Archaeological Reserve remains closed today due to persistent high water levels. This continued closure is a safety precaution put in place by the Institute of Archaeology (IA) to protect both visitors and staff.

The IA is closely monitoring the river conditions and will reopen the tours as soon as it is safe to do so. While the cave tubing remains closed, visitors are encouraged to explore the many other archaeological reserves across Belize.

Although this is disappointing news for those who had planned a cave tubing adventure, the safety of everyone involved remains the top priority. Stay tuned to Belize Live News for updates on when this popular attraction will reopen.
