By Belize Live News Staff: The torso of a human body was found on Thursday morning on Lark Caye, a small island six miles off the coast of the Placencia Peninsula in Belize.
The unidentified remains were discovered in a state of decomposition, floating near mangroves.
Police have been alerted and are investigating the scene. Further details are awaited.
