By Belize Live News Staff: Moist and unstable conditions persist across Belize, with the National Meteorological Service forecasting continued showers and thunderstorms throughout the day.
Expect cloudy skies this morning with occasional sunny breaks. Showers and thunderstorms are likely to develop, primarily over southern and coastal areas, before moving inland and northward by the afternoon.
Tonight, skies will remain partly cloudy, becoming cloudy at times. Isolated shower activity is expected, with the exception of the south, where a few showers and isolated thunderstorms may occur.
Marine conditions include easterly winds blowing at 10-15 knots, a sea state ranging from light chop to choppy, and waves reaching 2-5 feet.
Temperatures along the coast will reach a high of 87°F (31°C) and a low of 82°F (28°C). Inland areas can expect a high of 90°F (32°C) and a low of 74°F (23°C), while the hills will see a high of 78°F (26°C) and a low of 68°F (20°C).
The tropical weather outlook remains calm, with no tropical cyclone formation expected in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico within the next 48 hours.
Looking ahead to Thursday, cloudy spells and isolated shower activity are anticipated, with the south experiencing a few more showers.
