By Belize Live News Staff: The Ministry of Transport under Rodwell Ferguson is once again in search of a new CEO. Gilroy Middleton, who assumed the position in January, is reportedly leaving to pursue a teaching career at the University of Belize (UB).
This marks the third CEO to depart from the Ministry during Ferguson’s tenure. Middleton was preceded by Marconi Leal Jr. and Adele Catzim Sanchez, raising questions about the stability and leadership within the Ministry.
As of now, there is no word on who will replace Middleton. The frequent turnover in leadership has sparked concerns and hopes that the fourth time will be the charm for Ferguson in finding a suitable and long-term CEO for the Ministry of Transport.
