Belize enjoys sunny spells, isolated showers expected; Hurricane Ernesto monitored

By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans woke up to another day of sunshine and scattered clouds on Thursday, with warm temperatures expected across the country. The National Meteorological Service forecasts isolated showers or thunderstorms, particularly in the southern regions.

Coastal areas are predicted to reach highs around 90°F (32°C), while inland temperatures could climb to the mid-90s. Hilly regions will experience a comfortable range of temperatures.

Marine conditions remain favorable with light winds and calm seas, which are ideal for boating and other water activities.

Meanwhile, Hurricane Ernesto continues its northward trajectory in the Atlantic, posing no immediate threat to Belize. However, authorities are closely monitoring the storm’s progress.

The Meteorological Service expects similar weather conditions to persist through Friday and Friday night.
