By Belize Live News Staff: The Roman Catholic community in Belize is mourning the loss of Reverend Father Callistus Cayetano, affectionately known as Fr. Cal, who passed away peacefully in his sleep early this morning in Barranco, Toledo.
Fr. Cal, ordained on August 15th, 1973, dedicated over 50 years of his life to serving the Catholic faithful throughout Belize. He was known for his warm personality, compassionate heart, and unwavering commitment to his parishioners.
His passing has left a void in the hearts of many who knew and loved him. Tributes and condolences have poured in from across the country as people remember his tireless dedication to his ministry and the positive impact he had on countless lives.
