By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans can look forward to a day filled with sunshine and intermittent cloud cover, according to the latest forecast from the National Meteorological Service. However, residents are advised to be prepared for a few showers and isolated thunderstorms, particularly in coastal areas and inland during the afternoon.
The moist and unstable air mass currently affecting Belize will gradually diminish throughout the day, leading to clearer skies by nightfall. Temperatures will remain warm, with coastal regions experiencing highs near 89°F (32°C) and lows around 82°F (28°C), while inland temperatures are expected to peak at 94°F (34°C) and dip to 74°F (23°C) overnight.
Mariners can expect light chop and calm seas, with winds blowing from the east-northeast at 10-15 knots. Wave heights should remain between 2-4 feet.
The outlook for the next 48 hours remains favorable, with no tropical cyclone development anticipated in the North Atlantic, Caribbean Sea, or Gulf of Mexico.
Residents are reminded to stay hydrated, use sunscreen when outdoors, and take precautions if venturing out during periods of rain or thunderstorms. Be sure to tune in to Belize Live News for further weather updates throughout the day.
