Sunny spells and scattered showers predicted for Belize

Belize Weather: Sunny skies with a chance of showers and thunderstorms

By Belize Live News Staff: Belizeans can expect a mix of sunshine and scattered showers as the National Meteorological Service has released its latest forecast for today. While the overall outlook is sunny, residents, especially those in the south and along the coast, should be prepared for some showers and isolated thunderstorms in the morning.

As the day progresses, the showers are expected to become less frequent. Inland areas will experience warmer temperatures, with highs reaching up to 94°F (34°C). Coastal regions can expect a slightly cooler day, with temperatures peaking at 89°F (32°C).

For those heading out to sea, conditions are predicted to be light chop with waves reaching 2-4 feet. Winds will be blowing from the east at a moderate speed of 5-15 knots.

Looking ahead to Wednesday, the weather is expected to remain mostly fair with only isolated showers.

Residents and visitors are reminded to stay hydrated and take precautions against the sun, especially during peak hours. Boaters and seafarers should exercise caution and be mindful of the potential for isolated showers and thunderstorms.
