By Belize Live News Staff: Orange Walk police have formally arrested and charged 23-year-old Jaheim Fuller for the murder of 60-year-old Norman Gillett. Fuller faces charges of both murder and attempted murder.
The incident occurred as Gillett was entering his yard on Monkey River Street, where he was tragically gunned down. Leon Tasher, who was socializing with Gillett’s son in the family yard, was also injured during the shooting.
Police investigations into the motive behind the crime are ongoing. However, the arrest of Fuller marks a significant development in the case, bringing some closure to the grieving family and community.
Police are urging anyone with information related to the case to come forward and assist with the investigation.
