By Belize Live News Staff: The National Hurricane Center (NHC) has issued a seven-day tropical outlook, indicating the possible formation of a new tropical disturbance in the Atlantic Ocean by the middle of next week. The disturbance is expected to form a few hundred miles northeast of the central Bahamas and currently poses no threat to Belize.

As of Saturday evening, the NHC estimated a 0% chance of formation within the next 48 hours. However, the probability of development increases to 30% within the next seven days.

Forecasters predict favorable conditions for the system’s development once it forms and begins moving westward.

In addition to this potential disturbance, the NHC is also monitoring another system off the East Coast of Mexico, which they anticipate could become a tropical depression by the middle of next week.

Residents in these areas are urged to stay informed about the latest weather updates and be prepared for potential storms.
