Today, cloudy skies with scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected, particularly in northern and inland areas. These conditions will extend to most areas by tonight, with a focus on the north.
Mariners are advised to exercise caution, with winds expected to be easterly to southeasterly at 10-20 knots, gusting. Seas will be moderate to rough, with waves reaching 5-7 feet. A small craft caution is in effect.
Temperatures will vary across the country, with highs reaching 93°F (34°C) in inland areas and lows around 70°F (21°C) in the hills.
