By Belize Live News Staff: The dry season continues to show its strength this weekend as Belize basks under mostly clear skies and hot daytime temperatures. A steady easterly airflow is keeping the country largely rain-free, with just a few isolated showers forecast along southern Belize and the Maya Mountains tonight.
Temperatures will soar across all regions — peaking at 96°F (36°C) inland, 89°F (32°C) along the coast, and 84°F (29°C) in the hills. Nighttime temperatures will remain warm and humid. Boaters should note moderate sea conditions and wave heights of 4 to 6 feet.
With no major weather systems expected over the next day, Sunday will also bring continued fair and warm conditions. Officials urge residents to be cautious with outdoor activity, drink plenty of water, and keep an eye on vulnerable groups such as children and the elderly.
