Bomb threat reported at Immigration Department in Belmopan

By Belize Live News Staff: Police are investigating a reported bomb threat at the Immigration Department offices in Belmopan.

The alert was received early Monday morning, prompting the evacuation of Immigration staff and nearby vendors. Police quickly cordoned off the area and began a thorough search of the building.

A bomb expert from the Belize Defence Force has been called in to assist with the investigation. No suspicious device has been confirmed at this time.
