By Belize Live News Staff: As Belizeans cast their votes in today’s general elections, the country is experiencing ideal weather conditions, ensuring a smooth and accessible voting process. The forecast for March 12, 2025, calls for fair and dry weather, with no major rainfall expected.
Voters heading to polling stations early in the day will experience mild morning temperatures, rising to a high of 92°F (33°C) inland and 84°F (29°C) along the coast by the afternoon. In hilly areas, temperatures will remain slightly cooler at 76°F (24°C).
With light winds from the east-southeast at 5-15 knots, conditions will be comfortable for those waiting in line to cast their votes. Meanwhile, coastal waters remain calm, with waves between 2-4 feet, making it a safe day for travel to island polling stations.
Tonight, as votes are counted and results come in, skies will be partly cloudy, with little to no chance of rain. This ensures that the post-election period remains peaceful and uninterrupted by weather disruptions.
