By Belize Live News Staff: The People’s United Party (PUP) Executive Committee for Belize Rural North (BRN) has unanimously endorsed Marconi Leal Jr. as the new Standard Bearer for the constituency.
The decision was made during a committee meeting on January 29, 2025, where members deliberated on the selection process. The National Executive formally ratified the recommendation today, confirming Leal Jr.’s leadership role in the division.
Moving forward, the Chairman of the Eastern Caucus will collaborate with the BRN Executive Committee to finalize arrangements and set the date for Leal Jr.’s official swearing-in.
The BRN Executive Committee also expressed gratitude to Marconi Leal Sr. for his years of service and leadership, emphasizing their commitment to a smooth transition and continued dedication to the people of Belize Rural North.
