According to the Belize Meteorological Service, scattered showers, isolated thunderstorms, and periods of rain will primarily affect northern and southern districts during the day before shifting to coastal areas tonight.
Marine conditions are forecasted to be choppy to moderate, with northeast winds blowing at 10-20 knots and wave heights between 3 and 6 feet. Mariners are urged to exercise caution as these conditions may pose challenges, particularly for smaller vessels.
Temperatures will remain cooler than typical for this time of year. Coastal regions will experience highs of 82°F (28°C) and lows of 72°F (22°C). Inland areas are set to reach 83°F (28°C) during the day, cooling to 68°F (20°C) at night, while the hills will range from 78°F (26°C) during the day to a brisk 63°F (17°C) overnight.
The forecast for Friday suggests continued cloudy skies with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms persisting across the country. Rainfall is expected to gradually decrease by Friday night, with activity lingering over southern regions into the weekend.
