By Belize Live News Staff: The Lakeland area in Dangriga is in shock after a man was fatally shot Wednesday night.
Police responded to reports of multiple gunshots shortly after 9 p.m. Upon arrival, they found Richard Aranda, who was pronounced dead at the scene.
Authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting and working to determine potential suspects and a motive.
Police are asking anyone with information to come forward.
