By Belize Live News Staff: A fire erupted late Sunday night on Freetown Road in Belize City, consuming a wooden house in a matter of minutes. The blaze, which began shortly before midnight, left the property completely engulfed by the time emergency responders arrived.
Video evidence captured the harrowing scene, showcasing the residence next to Korea Electronics fully ablaze. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
The homeowner, Brandon Daniels, 32, who works as a delivery man, was not at the residence when the incident occurred. He, along with his wife and seven-year-old child, had temporarily relocated to a relative’s home. Unfortunately, the fire decimated their home and belongings, leaving the family with nothing.
Fire officials arrived swiftly but were unable to save the structure from extensive damage. Investigations into the cause of the fire are currently underway as authorities seek to determine what led to the devastating incident.
