By Belize Live News Staff: Prime Minister John Briceño hosted a courtesy visit with Dr. Nigel Taylor, Ombudsman of Barbados, and Dr. Michael Sabazan, Investigation Officer, as part of efforts to strengthen regional collaboration between ombudsman offices.
During the meeting, Belize’s Ombudsman, Major (Ret’d) Herman Gilbert Swazo, facilitated discussions with the visiting officials, focusing on areas of mutual interest and cooperation. The exchange highlighted Belize’s commitment to fostering stronger ties and sharing best practices in promoting transparency, accountability, and human rights across the region.
