Fair and pleasant weather predicted across Belize, minor showers along coastline

Mild and mostly dry conditions expected today

By Belize Live News Staff: Belize is set to experience a day of mostly fair weather, with the Belize Meteorological Service forecasting sunny skies and mild conditions across the country. The forecast suggests only a slight possibility of isolated showers or thunderstorms, which are expected to develop primarily along the coast.

Residents in coastal areas can expect daytime temperatures to reach up to 88°F (31°C), cooling down to around 77°F (25°C) at night. Inland areas will be warmer, with highs of 92°F (33°C) and lows of 72°F (22°C). In the higher elevations, the temperature will be notably cooler, with daytime highs of 77°F (25°C) and lows dropping to 66°F (19°C) during the night.

Marine conditions remain slightly rough, with easterly to northeasterly winds at 5 to 15 knots, creating choppy seas and waves between 3 to 5 feet. Small craft operators are advised to navigate cautiously due to moderate sea conditions.

Today’s tidal schedule includes a low tide at 6:40 AM, a high tide at 1:00 PM, followed by another low tide at 5:34 PM, and a final high tide at 11:41 PM. Sunrise was at 5:33 AM, and sunset is expected at 5:19 PM, with the moon rising at 9:31 AM and setting at 8:36 PM.

Belizeans can look forward to continued fair weather into Wednesday, with only isolated showers expected. The Belize Met Service encourages residents to make the most of the sunny conditions today while remaining alert for any minor coastal showers.
