By Belize Live News Staff: Belize marked its 43rd year of Independence with celebrations full of national pride.
In his address, Opposition Leader Shyne Barrow reminded the nation of the pivotal decision made by the Flowers Bank 14 and other early settlers who chose to defend Belize.
This decision, according to Barrow, embedded a sense of iron will in the DNA of Belizeans.
He also reflected on the accomplishments of national heroes like George Price and Philip Goldson, urging the people of Belize to embrace the spirit of patriotism and resilience as they continue to shape the country’s future.
