“This upgrade is a testament to the collaboration between the Ministries of Health and Tourism,” stated Minister of Health Kevin Bernard. The improvements aim to create a more welcoming and comfortable environment for patients while providing healthcare staff with the necessary tools and facilities to deliver optimal care.

Minister of Tourism Anthony Mahler emphasized the link between tourism and healthcare, highlighting the importance of ensuring adequate health resources for both residents and visitors. The BTB’s sponsorship of the upgrade reflects the tourism sector’s commitment to supporting critical infrastructure in Belize.
