Gun violence claims another life in Belize City

By Belize Live News Staff: A fatal shooting incident on Sunday night has left Belize City reeling. A gunman opened fire on a group of men near the Puma Super Station on Cemetery Road at Johnson Street around 8:00 PM, killing one man.

The victim, identified as DeAndre Usher, was pronounced dead on arrival at the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital after suffering multiple gunshot wounds. The assailant, described as having his face covered with a shirt, used what is believed to be a TEC-9 machine gun in the attack.

Police are investigating the incident, but the motive behind the shooting remains unclear. No arrests have been made as of yet.
