By Belize Live News Staff: A woman was found with stab wounds to her face and neck near Mile 15 in Hattieville earlier today. A passerby discovered the injured woman by the roadside and immediately alerted authorities at the Hattieville Police Compound.
The victim, whose identity remains unknown, was transported to Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital (KHMH) for emergency medical treatment. The extent of her injuries, beyond the stab wounds, is yet to be determined.
Police are currently investigating the scene where the woman was found. There is no information yet on potential suspects or motives. Authorities are urging anyone with information to come forward.
