By Belize Live News Staff: One of the district’s fastest growing celebrations is back.
The BTIA Cayo Chapter’s El Cayo Festival returns for its second year this weekend, with two full days of activities planned for Saturday and Sunday.
The lineup includes entertainment, competitions and plenty of local food. Local vendors and entrepreneurs will also be on hand, giving small businesses a chance to connect with the crowds expected over the weekend.
After a successful first edition, organizers are aiming to raise the bar in year two and continue building the festival into a signature event for Cayo.
Bring the family, bring your appetite and come support local.
